EconMacro cited in Alessia Paccagnini’s Macroeconometrics

I am pleased to share that EconMacro is cited in Alessia Paccagnini’s forthcoming textbook, Macroeconometrics, scheduled for publication by De Gruyter Brill on 21 September 2026.

The reference appears in Appendix D, “Software, Data, and Online Resources,” in Section D.4.2, “Community Resources” (pp. 805–806). Alessia describes EconMacro as:

“a blog with codes, mainly in STATA and discussion about macroeconometric models applied to international economics, maintained by Jamel Saadaoui.”

The same section lists QuantEcon, r-econometrics.com, Forum Applied Macro, and Awesome-VAR.

My aim with EconMacro is to share the details that are often left out of finished papers: how a method works, how it is implemented, and what its results mean. Seeing the blog included among the resources for readers of a macroeconometrics textbook is a welcome encouragement.

Thank you, Alessia, for including EconMacro, and congratulations on the book!

Cropped excerpts from pages 805 and 806 of Alessia Paccagnini’s Macroeconometrics, showing EconMacro in Section D.4.2, Community Resources.
