We estimate the dynamic growth effects of changes in Economic Integration Agreements using a 1990-2023 country panel and a heterogeneity-robust differencein-differences estimator for multivalued, nonabsorbing treatments. Growth does not respond significantly in the switch year but rises by about 3 percentage points one year later. Four placebo estimates are individually and jointly insignificant, and the result is stable across alternative control groups, common-switcher, sample, and leave-one-out checks. The evidence points to delayed gains from major bloc-based integration episodes.
