Allow me to share this very nice visual guide to critical materials and rare earths made by The Economist:

They did a fantastic job and provide the following visualization below. They also underline that if most of the focus is on the rare-earth elements, “The mineral facing the biggest disruptions is copper, which is required in much larger volumes.” I share their conclusion on the Copper, and I made two previous blogs about the elasticity of Copper prices to Geopolitical Risk:
